Arcane illusions & impractical flights of fancy.
Ransom & Mitchell is a still + motion creative team in San Francisco featuring the combined talents of Jason Mitchell and Stacey Ransom. Our approach uses photography with cinematic lighting and distinctive sets combined with digital painting and CG to create our darkly arcane pop-baroque narratives.
In this store, you will find limited edition prints, open run prints, NFTs, sculpture, postcards, printer proofs, and oops prints as available (apparel and housewares are fulfilled through Printful). Each piece typically has two or three sizes to the edition (all the available sizes for a piece may not be shown on this site). Limited edition prints come with a certificate of authenticity. Prices of the limited edition prints will raise as the edition sells out.
If you would like to purchase a particular piece of work that isn't listed here, please drop us a line. If you discovered us through one of our gallery shows, then please work through them for your purchase. If you are interested in a commission, please write us at email@example.com
Our prints are typically made on an Epson Stylus Photo 7890 or 9900 using archival pigment inks on Moab Entrada Rag, Exhibition Lasal Luster 300, or Slickrock Metallic Pearl 260 photo paper. Jason's Dream Away and Dream Awake series are printed on Museo Max archival matte. In most cases, the image will be slightly smaller than the paper to allow for a border. Framed prints from gallery shows may be varnished, mounted, and trimmed for presentation in ornate frames with or without glass. We suggest any print over 12" be mounted to an acid-free substrate (ie. gator board or sintra) and trimmed for display.
All prints are made on demand in San Francisco (sales tax will be applied to orders in California). We try to be on top of getting your order right out, but on occasion please allow for up to two weeks for processing. There is a free shipping option on all orders in the US -- USPS First Class up to $150 and Priority for orders over $150. You can choose expedited delivery, but still take processing time into account with your order.
Thank you for collecting our work!
